CSE

Bachelor of Technology

4-year undergraduate program focusing on software development, database management, web technologies and many more. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was started in 1998 with an intake of 40. The Intake was increased to 60 in 1999. In 2018, the Intake was again increased to 120 and in 2022, Intake was further increased to 180. The current intake is 240 which was introduced in the year 2024. The objective of the department is to provide knowledge of modern computing systems as well as sound theoretical background to meet evolving needs of students so as to bridge the gap between the academia and the corporate sector. Also the department aims at cultivating qualities like leadership, teamwork, self confidence, good communication skills among its students.

CSE (AIML)

Bachelor of Technology

4-year undergraduate program with advanced coursework in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) program was launched in 2023 with an initial intake of 60 students. Recognizing the increasing demand for AI and ML expertise, the intake was expanded to 120 students in 2024. This program blends fundamental computer science concepts with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), equipping students with the skills to design intelligent systems that can learn, analyze data, and make informed decisions, mimicking human intelligence etc. Graduates of CSE (AIML) can pursue a wide range of career opportunities, including traditional roles available to computer science and IT engineers. These include, but are not limited to job profile like Software Developer, Machine Learning Engineer, AI/ML Engineer, Data Scientist, Research Scientist etc.
